Yeah, I was going to say that too. Her and Zen basically have gotten no development since she left the castle. It's disappointing that the author separated them.

Also having Mitsuhide reject Kiki was incredibly stupid as well.

Shirayuki and Obi clearly don't want to be apart from each other. Even though they're both working for Zen (like, they're both his people, first and foremost) it's hard to imagine how they could ever be separated; over time, Obi seems to have become more Shirayuki's knight than Zen's. I don't know how him asking her to take care of his heart is supposed to end up platonic???

I'm honestly starting to wonder whether Shirayuki and Zen are going to become each other's biggest supporters instead of having a big fairy tale romance.

(I have never been teally fond of Zen and Shirayuki relationship. Why it always has to be prince? As it's written on the front page it's "romance that cuts through fate" and my interpretation of it was that it doesn't always have to be prince as in the fairy tales. Now I'm curious if I was right)

I love this OT3, especially since Obi has explicitly stated he both love Shirayuki AND Zen, and while Zen and Shirayuki doesn't explicitly state the same to Obi (in the same feeling, because Obi def say it in platonic AND Romantic tone), their action shown how much they return Obi's feeling.

I mean, look how much Zen always protect Obi position and speak about his importance to himself, and how Shirayuki also support Obi whenever someone push him down.

There's also how Zen and Shirayuki know how Obi is important to each other. Like, even without discussions, they know what the other want to about their knight. Shirayuki and Zen also doesn't hesitate to speak using the others view even thought they're usually always think it through about speaking from other point of view (in case it's not aligned, I like how they don't want to assume things about each other), but when it's about Obi and their dream, they never in doubt.

Obi might not be able to explicitly shown being romantically involbed with the two, but damn does I can see him being godfather to Shirayuki and Zen child and stay with them til they are old and grey

We know for a long time already that Obi's love for Shirayuki is not platonic. But since Zen is equally important to him and Shirayuki and Zen love each other he supports the two of them without getting in between their relationship.

This is why AnS works so well for me. Usually I'm really not a romance type manga fan (I really hate that average triangular constellation and "I'm not good enough for him/her" stuff) but Shirayuki, Zen and Obi are written sooo well :3
