So if I upload a new chapter after this DMCA I am legally responsible for it and those corporations can sue me?

The rules changed and they added a box when uploading where I have to say that I, myself, legally have the right to upload the material, implying that if a new corporation hits Mangadex with an DMCA to take it down, the corporation can sue ME for it.

That fucking sucks, and removes pratically any incentive I have for uploading new chapters.
I'm not even a native english speaker, I pay translators at a high (relative to where I live due to coin exchange to dollar) price to translate it to english simply because I wanted to share with the highest number of people possible, so that more people could enjoy the material like I myself enjoyed it.

If I'm at risk that removes pratically all incentives to do something this expensive.

AFAIK you always did, but the publisher doesnt know who you are, MDs terms also include that all DMCAs should go to them, but unless you have your real name attached to your account and the publisher is feeling extra super ligitous the worse that SHOULD happen is you get the DMCA directly and can either take your shit down or get sued

but most likely in all cases it will continue as normal, MD will get DMCAs and they will immediately comply and the publisher will move on, your not important enough to waste time trying to sue
