Yeah the MC just straight up caused the problem (by killing the mage creator of the barrier and goddess killer) and solved the problem by killing the devil/darling. If you paid attention to the plot 7 chapters ago the payoff is hilarious. I laughed so hard when the devil dropped like a fly with "splash" sound

Part of the joke of this series is the constant encounter with end boss enemies, world ending plots and overpowered heroes, only for the main character to basically both mess up and solve everything in a single word.
