So this was the body in the coffin that Lain was protecting, huh?

@dabes115
Lain was the 'unkillable' vampire lady that regenerated so fast it looked lke she was never harmed.
She attacked the mc with a bombardment of clones that she never told who their target was, so no 'killing intent' would leak back to her. Not only did it link to her anyways, it also killed her hidden true body that was probably protecting the little girl vampire from this chapter, which would be why the dark elf girl was instantly respectful to her.

Was it just me or did the chapter feel rushed somehow and I am glad the queen knew how powerful our guy was

everynow and then the POV goes away from the MC and im reminded of how, even without the mass-insta kill protagonist roaming about, this setting is ridiculously, absurdly chaotic

i dont think ive seen another one quite like it. ive seen over the top cruel settings, crazy and wacky settings, everything in between...

and then this, where people just die, society is just kinda unnaturally psychotic, and people just keep bringing in wildcards to make the setting weirder.

True, the only illogical thing in this setting is that there is a world at all with all the crazy fuckers with crazy powers that reside in it.

So, basically...
With the big vampire dead, all others started killing each other since the last one would take her tru powers or something.
And we saw the meetings of the last two, one of them with no idea what was going on.

...but I think the reason the new one wond was because, before being a vampire, she had been turned into an experience farmer for her enslaver, and thus had farmed a lot herself?
And the other was just thinking being a vampire was enough?

Not enough info, hope we find out more soon.

And yeah, this world is clearly a bunch of chaos that somehow became a real place.
I think that's why so many people are summoned, they try to find someone to help keep the place standing instead of putting enough work on it.
Since they have so much power already, why do it themselves.
So they are so high on power they don't notice they are just making everything worse.

And now something arrived they can't just overpower... not that they noticed yet.

Save for one person who did the sane thing and went the other way.

Note that this serie is taking the piss on every single other isekai in existence, think of one, the author put a character with a similar background to the MC of that one in this serie, he just want to kill them all in his own way.
There a few of beings in the novel that would have never messed up with Yogiri but here they do, it gets old after a while, most follow the cliche of people that got powerful fast and easy or were born in a high place and think of every one else as ants, but some were actually smart so their confronting the MC make little to no sense.
there is a girl for example that can comunicate with spirits and use them, even with that power she shown hostility and was offed instantly, same for another(or was the same girl?) that had magical girl powers gave to her from 2 gods in the previous world, the gods should ave know about Yogiri but still gone against him you know what happened, and there are even more powerful beings that died on the spot, it gets a bit annoying when the author uses various chpters to introduce a character and their background and they literally get killed for looking at the MC.
The high queen is the only person together with the sage killer that recognized his power without a example, but is not explained how, and as many other characters she dissapears after this arc, weird how gods don't but they do, maybe the paper novel that got rewritten with a editor make more sense on that front.

The second part of this chapter is all new, the girl that got vampirized doesn't reapper in the story, at least not to the point where I am with it, I thought she got killed when MC IS the origin vampire, so many characters and they die as flies, hard to keep track at times...that made me remember the other slave of the emperor job classmate, she got part of his power when Yoigir traced him back and wanted to kill him as revenge as she did like the guy, can't remember if she appeared and got killed in the same page or still didn't track MC, author could have forgot too.
