would be nice, there aren't many of these stories with advocate protagonists like in Live Dungeon or Rise of the Life Wizard, where the point isn't for the mc to be OP but for them to champion a new style of fighting and teach as many people about it as possible, even if that means their students surpass them. Not enough protags treat their goal or methods as being bigger than their personal profit anymore.

"Popular new" doesn't necessarily mean "impressive." Lots of people read stories worse than this, propelling them to a higher status. Compared to some, this isn't as bad as some recent trope-y Fantasy Manga. It's just poorly translated, especially this chapter.
