Solo Leveling: Ragnarok

tell me if this has the same vibes as those new generation type of manga like boruto/4 apocalypse (seven deadly sins sequel) or even worse just like those typical manhwa that all about action and drawing?

From the 13 chapters I've read, it's disappointing. I'll copy paste a review I made on another site to keep it short.

"Partial review as of 13 chapters.

For me, it's a 6/10, main reason why being that it feels as if it's coasting off it's predecessor's success. It doesn't do much different from other manhwa, is currently doing the cutesy animal sidekicks, Hauk Tuah's them for being so prodigiously strong, etc;

If judged as a standalone series, I might've enjoyed it more, but because it's tied to Solo Leveling, this feels like it's in the same rut Boruto is in.

6/10 means minute enjoyment, not enough to recommend, as that's 7/10 & higher"

You can tell that the original author did NOT get any bread from this series. Studio definitely owns the IP instead of the author, and the original author probably died piss poor while the studio tries to milk the husk of title using someone else's writing

What is happening in chapter 1? Why is sung jinwoo missing? Isn't the epilogue in solo leveling, sung jinwoo became a police officer? Guide his son in the dungeon? I thought he is managing the dungeons by himself? I thought there would be no more gates. But I'll read more to know the answer to my question.

Pre-rewrite MangaDex was iconic. It had the charm of the older websites where the UI didn't look super "modern" and they didn't pad everything out for mobile. And of course all the unreliability did suck but it was a bonding moment to open up MangaDex discord and seeing everyone spam that one image of the MangaDex mascot while the servers are on fire

Lore-wise this should be better than SL, as we will see the rest of the characters doing more, if we compare it with the original manwha. But I can't help but notice the art is a little bit rough, especially in fight scenes.

Don't know how to describe, but SL visual direction in those scenes were dynamic and could be easily followed along. Here, it can be messy sometimes.

This series is incredibly lame, and the power balance is so flopped. MC hasn't struggled a bit and feels like a spoiled brat.
