Eh, he's one of the group of cops who took a suspect against his will, escorted him to an old warehouse in handcuffs, watched the suspect get mutilated into a pool of blood, and then agreed with his colleagues to pretend none of that ever happened, in fact there never was any suspect in the first place, if anyone asks. After all that, you think he'd care about inconveniencing a student?
