Not always, because you can't smell one of the deadliest toxins - botulinum toxin - but in 99,9% of the time, yeah. Especially if the food was in the fridge for only fricking 2 days. Like, c'mon... It was only 2 days... In a fridge... And cooked at that, which should kill most of the nasty stuff...If it smells fine, it's fine. Throwing away decent food because of expiration dates is one of the most significant contributors to food waste.
