Xie Feng: The name means something along the lines of "Holding wind under one's arms"

I've translated his lines on page 9 literally but they are confusing currently without knowing his full motive. I might revise them in the future once they're revealed.

This is a good echo of Cang Wuzi and Chong Ming's encounter. At that time, Cang Wuzi was still the head of the Proxies and one of the most learned about qi and the cataclysm, while Chong Ming was a Proxy who had adopted the predatory stance on qi conservation but still considered Cang Wuzi as an allied or neutral cultivator. Cang Wuzi killing both and releasing their accumulated qi would have called into question the predatory Proxies' agenda especially for beasts and demons; and here we see that Xie Feng have come to confirm his doubts and fight for his own interests. Whoever baited A Ting and Yuchi also conveniently brought Spellbane to where it can be used against the heart of the Baili clan.

i think the person who led A-ting and Yu Chi Yi here was the Li Mountain cultivator, because 2 chapters ago he said "You will be able to meet them very soon. This congratulatory gift, does it meet your approval?" idk what powers he has, but it seems he expected them to come here, so he likely blocked their path and led them around. it's clear that A-ting's qi can be traced by them because Bai Li Zhong mentioned it when he exited seclusion.

also, i think the Ape Tribe dude was tracking them anyway because Spellbane might be relevant to him (i mean didn't it slay the Great Ape Sage? i wonder if the original Ape Sage fought to enter heaven...?)

anyway it would be cool if there's an even higher power involved! i'm glad there's more to this Ape dude, his design is cool. so he's been in contact with the Fox tribe as well...
