Translating the explanation for what the golden lotuses did was a bit tricky, the guy speaks in an old-man fashion and uses uncommon characters (You could probably tell as he uses the third person when talking). I think you could think of the lotuses as improving one's aptitude/luck.

Poor sect leader is still just a gofer to the retired boss...

You did a great job. Thank you for the effort out in. Working to explain foreign mythology and religious concepts can't be the easiest.

I'd wager this author is one of the more complicated to work on, as they care about each character and forming a personality for each. It is one of the reasons I adore each of their works.

are Qu Chen and A-Ting sharing resources somehow as they enter new cultivation stages? the way the page transitioned from Qu Chen's tribulation, where he goes "Hm?" and then shows more golden lotuses blooming than usual... or are they really all being used by A-Ting? hmmM
