Alright, quite a bit to unpack for this one:
Li Yan - this was the general in the earlier arc that repelled the Di invaders, back when A-Ting killed Baili Ji. Lin ZhenZhen is a new character.
Demonic cultivators - just think of it as in an evil/heretical sense. Not necessarily of the demon race.
Tai Bai Geng Gold - No real good english translation for this. It's like a fictional metal that can be used to improve weapons. Think of it like an eastern version of mithril.
The analogy of Heavenly Network as a spider web works slightly better in Chinese as the character for Net/Network is the same as that for Spider Web (Or rather you specify that it's a spider web by adding 'spider' in front of 'net')
Kunlun Sect leader's name/title/whatever it is - This gave me a bit of grief. It's written as '帝纹仙君'. Only the second character sounds like a name and is pronounced 'Wen', although it could mean line/mark/trace as well. The first character is 'Di' which means Emperor. The last two is 'XianJun' which means Immortal Monarch/Ruler/Lord. So Chinese usually has the title at the end which is why I've translated it to Immortal Monarch Di Wen. However, it is very odd to have the Emperor character in your name so there's a chance the whole thing is a title. Maybe he's regarded as the Immortal Emperor Trace Monarch or something. It's hard to tell, hopefully his name comes up again to provide context (won't be soon though, I looked ahead a bit in the raws).
Seems like we've got a bit of a comedian in A-Ting
