Funny you say that when the author himself even said that if Yuuta, Maria and Bug-Eye were in one room, Yuuta would genuinely believe Bug-Eye's tall tales (Maria would only pretend to be impressed by them).

True!! I instantly hooked to this character the moment she showed up! And I really like how she interact with Sonic. It's not out of place, if I squint hard, it's very storybook coded and I loved it!

Man I really miss human character in sonic world...
