Huh, I really didn't realise that's what those dots were for. Thank you for the advice.
- Bubbles serve the text, not the other way round. Typesetting doesn't mean to slavingly and uncompromisingly adhere to the bubble contours. You set type for readability, not for vanity. It's okay to spill (in moderation).
- Never asked you to not break at all. Just not to do it in the dumbest, reading-flow-disrupting places. Open dictionary, find word, break where there are middle dots. Simple as that.
- Absolutely no scaling would have been needed if you'd observed 1 and 2.
