Yeah, on the one hand I like that it just rejects all the romcom cliches. On the other hand... What happens when Hirai-kun gets a (different) girlfriend? Now we need a yandere tag. I'm pretty glad that Tsumiki got picked up as a series instead of this one. This is cute, but also quite creepy...
Yeah, kind of awkward, but he's really just talking like a little kid (he is one!) here, so he's got the little kid upspeak ('?') and the repeated 'you know?' ('ne?'). Morishita kind of emphasizes his kiddyspeak, so I kept that.Edit: seems like there might be a double "you know?" or errant ? after "she always" on page 13 in lil bro's speech bubble.
So when she does it it's "cute" and "pure", but when I do it it's "creepy" and "I'm calling the police" and "you are having a restraining order filed against you"![]()
This is cute, but also quite creepy...
And I was immediately singing Queen, 'Ride my Bicycle', out loud. The moment she made it clear she wanted him to ride him like a bike by requesting to turn into a bike...
I'm just happy it's creepily wholesome, not creepily horny.
I did like that it had the courage to reject all the romcom norms. Perfect for a oneshot! Its very cool that this didnt go the expectable twist of her falling for the angel instead. Very cool.
