Except on first page of chapter 24.2 there is a bubble stating "He's absorbed a massive amount of the world tree's magic.".
And on the 2nd page it states that he was invincible in the original game until the magic he absorbed from Tierra went berserk within him.
So Tierra did not fake her magic amount in the original game and as the matriarch of all elves she has FAR more magic than a human like Demonio.
Yet Dororoteo only lost control after absorbing her magic.
If Dororoteo even just thought that he can attempt to absorb Tierra's magic without releasing a huge excess then Demonio's magic should be way short of even getting close to begin with to cause that rampage.
He's absorbed a massive amount of it from the World Tree over time, yes, and is constantly keeping himself at his upper limit. I'm assuming that the "went berserk within him" is similar to how Demonio had it decompress and rupture his arm; he probably switched to absorbing from her, likely to cause pain to the MC and the daughter, and before it converted to his own magic she was able to control it to rebel against him, but was still drained enough that she perished. Lastly, he
actively compressed his mana so it was far denser than was natural. Just because she has a larger volume naturally doesn't mean it's denser as well.
