It seems the reports are out now that KiseKoi series is ending on March 21, 2025 (with chapter 115, I think). Welp, I guess this as far as it can go. Honestly no I don't see how this was expected at all. I felt this was gonna go for a few years more at least. I mean it hasn't even been a full year since it became biweekly instead of monthly again and I feel pretty disappointed at another romcom ending with a few chapters of the main characters being together. The author has been setting this payoff for years and they aren't even gonna let it (marin)ate for 20 chapters or so. I'm just sad man

I think they handled this whole issue pretty well, without going too much into the potential dark side of the show biz industry.

Fukuda neatly dodged the whole pro arc. Very warm and nice chapter, plus it was nice to see the whole gang together again.

Monthly schedule kinda sucks, but in light of Season 2 work it is totally understandable.

Yep, seen retrospectively, this chapter just decided to kill off what would have been a very interesting arc.

That's right, that's why the possible cosplay hobby->cosplay job plot point with Marin and that woman scouting her didn't sit well with me. Glad that went to nothing. Chekhov's gun didn't have any ammo this time, it was just a wall prop after all.

Nice to see their cosplayer friends again. I mean wow, I didn't even recognize Shinju right away. Or Marin. Love how the cosplayers protect their own. No stalker villain arc and corporate drama, only good vibes with good friends: Amane-kun did a good job nipping that in the bud by blocking the guy. I say let the Haniel incident remain a legend in the cosplay world. If Marin wanted to rise to stardom with that, she would've done it already. No, it's all just a fun hobby for her and her dress-up darling.
