Japanese mangaka dont know how to advance the plot beyond confessions. Such a shame, there are still room for development considering they are both in relationship for the first time like how they will handle this relationship as they progress, the harships, sacrifices and compromise etc.

That’s why I like Blooming Love, that manga explores the points that I mentioned and it’s wholesome as well.

Wtf boo! This is such a great series and we haven’t even gotten a season 2 in the anime yet. Come on…

Yeah this is incredibly heart breaking news after all this time. I've been bummed about it since this morning since there's no real way a single chapter can give it the closure it deserves.

That's why I'm grateful that Uzuki-chan decided to show the life of the couple already formed, them deciding their future, getting to know the lives of the other characters, and all of this without adding rivals or unnecessary drama.

It's a shame that Sono Bisque Doll decided not to do something similar, but thank God it didn't start releasing a bunch of boring chapters.

FINAL CHAPTER?! I mean, okay I guess the object of the story is done but holy hell wtf? No lube no easing us into it?!

Edit: Did it get axed from the repeated dragging?? In that sense I kinda get it as it really just felt like milking it for sometime with little to no movement plot wise. But compared to so many others this is wild to me.
While it did drag like a massive dead horse pulled by a single starved slave with nothing helpful at their disposal, I highly doubt that is it, lol.

I liked most of the manga. The moment she actually cosplayed Haniel, the photoshoot (gag), the following drama (their relationship + cosplay future + the writer/scouts + Gojo mental) and the romance in that whole part was some of the worst writing in any work of this kind possibly ever.
Deciding "this ain't worth it" and speedrunning it all without any proper writing was the only correct choice, tbh. Happy readers are possible future buyers.

finally ending
at least on the peak arc haniel chapter.
too much dragging story with filler, is not good at all
haniel arc (search for princess) conclusion, ended with marin not care about that last chapter.

That one pulled it of really good. A bit dragging in the making, but after everything is said and done and you look back on it in retrospect, it really put a great closure on their story.
Which is why it was impactful & arguably one of the better endings in recent times
but apparently there’s a spin off also on going so maybe it might continue there?

I wish more mangakas had the courage to write couple life instead of ending their series soon after the main couple gets together.

It's especially egregious for this series. I started reading this because of cool cosplays, cosplay lore, and character development and then was blindsided by the romance plot which I gladly welcomed. But then the series is over as soon as the romance is resolved? There are so many things this premise could have delved into that we'll never see unless he decides to make a continuation.
Probably mangaka doesn’t have that much experience in relationship that’s why they can’t write a proper plot past the confession stage. :dogkek:

some people were saying that the mangaka health was the cause for the sudden end, i don't know if is true or not, but maybe explain the cut out in the dude trying to find Marin because of the Haniel cosplay, anyway, F, i liked this manga, hope we get a nice end, and hope the author health gets better

Fukuda sensei was already struggling with the workload of the manga in the first place which is why she went from bi weekly to sporadic releases to certified monthly. Even then her output only went up like 2 pages with an extra 2 weeks. I'm guessing she got tired of the schedule and the pressure from the readers/watchers and decided to wrap it up as soon as the series hit the climax.

May I recommend Jitsu Wa Watashi Wa? https://mangadex.org/title/a990c2a1-b54f-4f4f-986c-3cdab1c9f2f9/jitsu-wa-watashi-wa

It is a series where the author had just such courage.
