Probably some sort of fire under their butt reasoning. If they stop, the competition can often get complacent again extremely fast and it’s easier to just keep going than have to reorganize a group together every time this happens. It’s amazing how quickly a group can start translating again after months of inactivity when somebody else starts threatening their translation monopoly.Church of Potteto started translating because Tonikaku Scans was taking forever to translate chapters. Not entirely sure why they kept going, but I personally prefer the Church of Potteto versions because they translate and redraw the SFX.
Tbh I thought they were siblings. They kinda have an air to them. That playful punch on pg. 7 was adorable. Marin has truly, hopelessly fallen in love with Wakana and I won't have it any other way. Go get him, girl!
Wakana has male friends now, that's progression too, for his own character. They were Marin's friends first, but I guess with this he's become part of the group too.
I don't remember if the black haired dude is named Kensei or Takeru, but he seems to be acquainted with Akira. You don't greet someone you meet for the first time with "you reek of tobacco" (especially not in Japan where politeness is paramount), maybe she's a cousin or a childhood friend.
Just realize you can switch the fries for something else, or maybe that's just not in my region? You know, tossing the fries in a standard burger meal for something healthier is actually the best way to get a better balance. The actual burger isn't that bad if it's adequate quality. And don't drink too much soda.
You've been able to switch fries for other things like mini-carrots where live for at least two decades. Personally I sometimes just buy a second small burger instead. Not quite as healthy, but better than fries.Just realize you can switch the fries for something else, or maybe that's just not in my region?
Is the soda that bad? The only time I heard about "soda=bad" is on empty stomach or brand-name fruit juice having more sugar in comparison, so I don't know how they compare with likely-sweet oolong tea.
In juice it's not straight up table sugar but fructose or simple sugar. Table sugar usually consists of several simple sugars and that is why it's a bit tricky to digest them, and if indulged a lot they can lead to an easier weight gain.Soda's pretty much flavoured and carbonated water with lots of sugar in it. And yeah, fruit juice does have quite a bit of sugar as well, although I've heard the type of sugar is every so slightly more healthy because of how the body breaks it down. The best thing to drink is generally water, which I think is terribly underappreciated.
Well, whatever it is... I agree with @ErikTheBossMan on preferring Church of Potteto's translations- they feel better and more complete. Also, that trick from the last chapter with the animated frame was pretty awesome, to be honest. Really loving their effort.Probably some sort of fire under their butt reasoning. Yeah, I suspect they are related. I was re-reading, and when Gojou meets Akira for the first time in ch 70, he was thinking he had seen her before. That could be because he saw her cosplay as whatever-Luna, but considering the interaction here, it seems likely they know each other. Though if they’re family it’s a little odd since Akira mentioned her family wasn’t accepting of her interests and she moved far away for college (presumably here, since Suzuka and Miya are here and they all met in college).Huh are Akira and that guy related? Or did he just tell a random hottie approaching him "you reek of tobaco"? Either his intuition told him to back off knowing what's to come or he's just nuts
I think Gojou solely recognized her based on that cosplay. Or rather, I don't see shut-in Gojou, who just recently started speaking to classmates, know/recognize relatives of classmates. So I don't think that's much of a clue in that regard.Yeah, I suspect they are related. That’s probably true, though I also reread my own comment and realize I was unclear. I meant that possibly Gojou thought she looked familiar because she resembles the classmate (if they are family). The problem with manga is that there are similarities among many characters by virtue of art style, so it’s impossible to tell what they are “supposed” to look like. Fat, ugly, plain, gorgeous, dorky…they all look pretty cute to me 🤷🏻♀️I think Gojou solely recognized her based on that cosplay. Might have to check other TLs how they translated the scene to see if the choice of words was simply misleading maybe (ig I'll do this rly quick)
