this smells like 12 chapters of drama before the romance progresses at all (which i remind you guys, was the "reward" for all this cosplay/arc/struggle)

well, i read this for free so im not complaining elegiggle
I hope you're right. I'm wondering how damaging this miscommunication is going to be between them. Expectations from two different worlds can be tough, but I can't wait to read how they get through it.

I must admit that it confuses me when people complain about chapters like this.
After a great arc of a craftsman making pretty much his Masterpiece, now we have an arc of the craftsman having to face for the first time the reality that people will not appreciate his efforts. The Model will be praised and beloved, but nobody asks for the Craftsman, and how that affects the relationship of the Craftsman and the Model.
It's quite an interesting and powerful subject to touch, and it'll be fascinating to follow.
But I guess people simply want quick and cheap romance...
That's a good take. I was wondering when they would touch on the idea that they may be going deeper into a professional relationship, since both have a great passion for what they do. It could only stay contained for so long.

I have said it before, she is going to have to be the one to confess and reach out to him. He may look down on himself, even though a large part of her success is because of him. He is just so negative she is going to have to gush on how much she is in love with him and break that stupid cliche that he isn't good enough to be with her. I mean he is handsome, tall, talented, a good student. I am sure the entire class is still waiting for them to get together and doesn't think he doesn't deserver her. If anything the guys might think Marin needs to try harder to deserve him.

Great depiction of Gojo's emotions. It could be a combination of pride for Marin but also disappointment of his lack of skills, or that he might feel that Marin is carrying his works, but I'd like to believe that Gojo's gaining some awareness for his feelings towards of Marin and is feeling conflicted about how he feel Marin may end up out of his reach with her skills and not being able to be around her.

I really enjoyed this chapter. There growing but whether that is together or apart should be interesting to see. What is strange is that he looks hurt and she won’t approach him? Didn’t think there relationship was so fragile or shallow. She wanted to confess but you take the good with the bad. Either way it turns out, I hope it’s entertaining.

Here Gojo has a mix of three different things: Fatigue (As we can see he is drinking too much energy drinks to be able to make things in time), artist perfectionism and the fact that he isn't being recognized (that comes with the artist perfectionism). Everything of those three things are augmented from the fact that he is a more introverted person.

If you go some chapters back (Chapter 94), the grandfather knows that he is a perfectionist as an artist, and he tells Marin to praise him and she tells him that she has only said great things about his costumes. But as far as I remember she (or mostly any other character that think that Gojos costumes are tiers above anything else) doesn't actually compliment Gojo's costumes that much, other than what you can percieve as a standard thanks. I.E. "Thank you, I like it" or "It looks great", while someone that is on his level of perfectionism wants to get complimented on the details (That I think she did on the first chapters) to know that it is good.

Extroverted people tend to accept to look compliments as face value, more introverted people think that it's more of a courtesy thing rather than if its a compliment than not, more if you have somewhat a low self steem.

Oh, I don't wanna be pessimistic but that author is 1000% getting those photos and becoming obsessed with Marin, like that dumbass photographer
I binge read the whole manga until now, it wouldnt surprise me if he would be willing to do a movie release with Marin as the actress. And yeah, that will definitely happen, like “here is my muse” kind of shit.

You are definitely on point, Gojo’s kind of people want others to notice the small details, notice how “nitpickers” they were in doing what they did as close as perfect as they imaginesd, since those “damn I want those costumes for myself” types of feedback doesnt tell him much, specially when he is not aware of his own quality, he could take it as “people are just being nice”.

This is totally ending up a legendary moment in their cosplay community. I'll call it:
Ano Hi Mita Cosplay Hime no Namae to SNS mo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.
"We Still Don't Know the Name and Socials of the Cosplay "Princess" We Saw That Day."

Marin getting scouted might be a major opportunity for a lot of cosplayers, but I think it doesn't line up with her main motivation for cosplay, so she won't take it. She loves it as a hobby, and even more she loves doing it with the guy she loves. Going pro means leaving all of that behind, and being a professional also means having to do things you don't want to as part of work: as a hobby she can freely choose who to cosplay, but as a pro she really can't refuse being told to cosplay some character at the risk of losing future opportunities, reputation, and money. Someone else other than Wakana will be making/buying her cosplay outfits too unless they hire him as well (I doubt it, agent didn't even ask about the costume).

Man, that tinge of jealousy stung a lot more than I thought for Wakana. But without his thoughts I really can't tell for sure if it's still jealousy or his old nemesis low self-esteem creeping up. This is setting up for some conflict that can be resolved by them talking. The pained look on his face stopped Marin from trying to talk to him, but I still think she should've at least tried to reach out. Maybe she's trying to be extra considerate but this might not end well the longer they don't talk.

In the meantime, I'm sure that author will see the amazing cosplay of his character soon. So we've reached chapter 100, and it's got a bit of that cloudy, overcast day feel, perhaps even gloomy end to it. Maybe 101 will be a banger, well I hope it will be.

it is NTR because she's showing that she enjoys more and feels more validated by and values more the leers and gaze of random comiket otaku than she does him looking at her.
You're more than capable of understanding this, young porn addict.
1. She doesn't "enjoy and feels more validated" there was no sign of that at all that's just your delusion

2. The main reason why she's even cosplaying in the first place is to hang out with gojo and get his appeal more like did you not see the panel where she realized what kind of face she was supposed to make when cosplaying as an angel?

3. You obviously never interacted with another human being before so put down the porn and step out side for a but.
You need it

Honestly I don't see how some may think Gojo is upset/ angry at Marin. That seems a bit ooc for him. If anything I interpreted it as his insecurities creeping back up with a vengeance now that Marin has reached this new peak of recognition with his costume. Any sort of strong emotion he's feeling is likely directed at himself. And of course, Marin doesn't understand what he's thinking or feeling rn and doesn't what know do because she is an extrovert and he is an introvert. As close as they are, they still don't fully understand each other due to having polar opposite demeanors/personalities.

Putting a bet that the mangaka will be part of Gojo's character growth. Guy thinks his character is impossible to create in real life and lo and behold Gojo pulls this off. That will put aside some of the doubts he has as an artist and hopefully helps him feel more on Marin's level, which is probably the biggest obstacle besides just having a serious chat about just what they want from each other.

People are projecting their insecurities onto him. Insecurities manifest in many and oftentimes irrational and maladaptive ways but there's a first time for everything and I don't expect anyone to hit the landing on their first go. What I mean is that I can see where people are coming from and if the author goes that route then it will for sure be a character growth thing for both of them.

That being said my interpretation is that he feels that she is drifting further and further away from him (the "I should not have said that" referring to how he told her to make them fall in love with him is a good indicator for that) and he might be feeling stuff that he isn't fully able to figure out just yet. Some form of pessessiveness and/or jealousy. And I think that he is angry or disgusted with himself about those feelings. Some assume that might not focus this anger inwards but outwards at the person that triggered this emotion. Which is why I meant irrationand maladaptive.

Thank you for the tl !
"Geez i wonder why the man that spent dozen of hours working on his most important work until now, to exhaustion, for ME, feels like he's not in the same world as i am !
Is it the litteral wall of people between us ? The fact he was relegated to bagage holding while the whole world fell in love with the girl he has feelings he still can't put in words for ? Or maybe it's the pro offer she got, not even mentionning her costume was from someone until then dear ? Or... That it's only when everything was over she finally looked at him ?
It's a mystery !"
Well he gave his best, ignoring everything and putt 120%into his work and she did the same! She only saw him after she completed her work. They have to communicate.

Its definitely not that simple, 😛 this will get emotionally complicated. Look at their non existent exchange at the train, he literally ignored her presence and she also stayed away, which makes total sense seeing how Gojo was behaving.
its GOJOVER
