Love Hina had the characters dating like 3/4th the way in. But overall this series it’s already winnowed into one love interest. Dad’s approval is nice, but things still are unresolved.
Oh don't get me wrong, i agree with you.She could have said: “Can I talk to you in your room or outside real quick?”, but the miscommunication drama needs to continue.
Certified ☕ momentGotta keep the drama going...
Communicate, gdi!!!Gotta keep the drama going...
He thinks he wanted Marin for himself, along with other things. So he's disappointed with himself. For those who think that Gojo became so depressed because he wanted Marin for himself, you are very naive.
Maybe I'm looking a bit too much into it, but maybe she's a bit irritated because he won't tell her what's wrong and what he's thinking about, and she wants him to confide in her himself instead of her dragging it out of him? They've been together for a long time and done a lot together now, so maybe she thinks he should open up a bit more and trust her a bit more? Or something like that. Communication goes both ways.Everybody taking turns to roast Marin XD
Dad is surprisingly cool with Gojo and her daughter's cosplays, but better not show him the skimpier ones or mention the love hotel...
There's a lot of possibilities.
Perhaps he feels that they're growing apart.
Perhaps he realized that he doesn't want other people to look at her in that way.
Perhaps his poor self-image thinks she's elevating his work, and that his costumes are only impressive because of her natural charisma.
And for her part, after getting that offer to go professional, perhaps she realizes that it's something that she wants to do, but it may come at the cost of growing further from him (since we didn't see him get an offer). When she thinks to herself whether she'll be able to keep doing this with him forever, the dialogue bubble from the other person blocks out the important part of her thought.
And it's the kind of thing that could likely be sorted out by sitting down and having a single conversation. But on the other hand, they're teenagers. And perhaps more saliently, they're Japanese teenagers in a romance (or romance-adjacent) story.
Honestly, it matches up with how he was acting when he was asking if she did her homework. So I didn't have an issue with that....and instead go insane over his daughter. I'm not sure that's much better.
