yeah, it's basically runny okonomiyaki. When I was living in Tokyo I asked a Japanese friend what Tokyo's regional specialty was since everywhere in Japan seems to have at least one and she took me for monjayaki. Despite its... somewhat questionable... looks, it's pretty good. That said I think Okonomiyaki is better tasting and better looking.

It was a fun experience though, I'm glad I tried it.
