What I got from that was more that she's just gonna leave it be for now/give him some space. Not that she's gonna try to actively drop it.
Which like I really appreciate the two high quality translations for stuff like this where there's ambiguity.

I was curious so I looked up the raws. the line in question is フツーにしとこ, a more literal/contextless translation for which might be something to the effect of "let's do it like normal." in context, the meaning seems to be that she's deciding she'll just matching his vibe, with no further implication whether this is a permanent "forget it ever happened" or a temporary "doesn't seem like a great time to bring it up" type deal
