Absolutely not. My thought process was like:

"ok, what? Didn't we just do the bit with the princess getting her kingdom back and having to stay behind to rebuild it since her father's dead now? What the hell is this? Did I miss something? Did I forget to read the previous chapter? "

goes and reads the previous chapter and it's exactly what I thought it was

"Alright, I didn't miss anything. Did the translator miss something? Is this supposed to be like chapter 34 or something? Although these characters seem vaguely familiar..."

Oh, I admit I was a bit lost when reading this, probably because I hadn't read it in a while and thought I must have forgotten it and thought oh well. But then read comments here and checked previous chapter and am as confused as you now. Even checked the raws to make sure there was no missing chapter(there wasn't).

That was both a terrible transition by the author and terrible release pace by the TL. I had to go back and read chapter 30 just to remember what the hell was going on in the story.
