I understand being bitter seeing lovey dovey couples but seems like (overwork culture aside) a great business opportunity to make more money, although i suppose they don't rly have 'tipping' culture versus maybe a commission for each successful sale or so
(one of my family members b-day is the 26th tho we never made a big celebration of it, tho must be sucky for those in similar situations who only get one combo gift unless it's really nice but maybe i'm just greedy lol)
Oof not wearing 'unflattering' glasses are one thing (tho other than sticking out too much hopefully there aren't too many 'bad' looks , but feels like you'd at least need contacts if it's bad enough you might bump into things, i can't imagine being in public w/o glasses but i'm basically blind without my prescription)
Pretty shitty of the kid to regift that right in front of her versus just like inviting her to play together lol
