I've always loved the end of this. He got his wish. Even the king of Synapse has to leave him in peace, because he knows Tomoki is right. I always liked to imagine that he just decides to pop on down and go to the same school as Tomoki.

Well good ending, even though it got a little hectic and lost its direction a bit, I liked how they wrapped it up. At least it isn’t as confusing as Evangelion’s ending...
