Oezawa Kentaro must of course be Oe Kenzaburo , who died earlier this year. Maybe it wasn't such a big stretch to get him to write an erotic novel. Much of his earliest work contained graphic sexual content, although mostly metaphorically about the American occupation and power struggles in Japanese society. Some of it isn't translated even though he's a Nobel laureate , and at least one work was barred from republishing by Oe himself.
