But it's what I mentioned in my previous post: if you keep making crazy twists that break the logic of what has been happening, in the end, as a reader, I think the author is deceiving me.

In my case, Katsura, I've banned him. Because of the way he acts, I think a lot of people won't read anything written by him.
Too bad to say....he still quite popular in Japan ...likely because all his series full of sex scene and JP people enjoy that ...NTR just their daily life also...

Same reason why that karma sutra manga still strong ongoing despite nearly 500 chapter and alrdy 20 year in publication

I don't know about Katsusa's case in Japan, but Miike Kei's sales, which someone shared the sales figures for the manga volumes, were pretty poor. What's more, each chapter has to be offered for free. He even shared it on Twitter, where you could see his volume half-hidden at the bottom of a shelf. It seems to me that he's working pretty much for free. To do this, he'd be better off drawing hentai.

My problem is not that it is NTR, my problem is that the story, the characters, the plot construction, the conflicts... I even think the rating given by Mangadex is too high considering all that.

Talk about unfair world 😆...

When he working with katsura ..the series sales actually over million...

Much better he just axed this series then

And you actually make me remember one mangaka 😆...he actually axed both his LN and manga ver when he starts notice he make more money from just selling FMC R-18 art and focus on R-18 side only

No one understands the last chapter
Chapter 33 ends with the FMC hot and bothered, with five or six pages above the MC, and it looks like she's going to rape him, with a final panel looking at Hina, the other girl. In chapter 34, Hina tells her to let her have sex with the protagonist, the FMC leaves, and the second guy, after being rejected by the FMC twice in the previous chapters, ends up having sex like dogs. This turn of events has been crazy.

While having sex, the FMC says that Hina should be next with the second boy because she wants that couple to reconcile, but she knows they are about to break up because Hina did not want to swap partners from the beginning and that Hina is interested in the protagonist... but Hina, who had been pursuing the protagonist for a lot of chapters, says she wants to have sex with the other boy (her boyfriend). And the best part is the protagonist's face when he hears it: ‘What happened here?’ And with this final twist, I'm completely stunned.
Man, what is it with Japanese Mangakas punishing their male leads, but never punishing their female leads.

NTR is a genre that focuses on a Japanese male audience. It seeks to maximise emotional suffering by empathising with a passive protagonist, increasing his sense of helplessness in the face of what is happening to him as he is humiliated. It also explores the fear of not being good enough, of being replaced. The Japanese female audience is not interested in reading these stories, where FMC is only a sexual object. How many people would read this if you removed the sex scenes?

It is a genre that sells, as we mentioned earlier with Katsura and ‘Entanglement: My Truth and Your Lies’, which are two very similar works. In both manga, the MC cannot have the FMC. In ‘Entanglement’, he is humiliated in different ways; she has sex with others, even with the protagonist's best friend, and when the protagonist has the chance, it is simply impossible for him to satisfy her, he can only watch passively. His conclusion was, ‘I know I'm alive because I suffer.’ This is also seen in hentai. I cannot get my wife pregnant, so someone else comes along to get her pregnant. Here, the humiliation is the replacement of the husband by the lover, as in this manga with the partner swap.

From our Western point of view, we expect progress, consequences for actions, and for the protagonist to be an active subject in his own story, and when this does not happen, it creates frustration.
