Yeah, I don't see why TN had to make life difficult for themselves (and readers) by changing it to French and adding the secondary subtitles. Like people cannot abstract the concept that we're already reading translated Japanese and that they're reciting English in parentheses? Since the olden days of comics they would show 'translated' text in "< >" brackets... Could have just done the same here and not change the mangaka's story... Potentially making more problems later on, plot-wise.You can change it to French if you want, but then you can't keep the same English/Japanese pun. Either keep it in English (a monospaced font does the trick well), change it to a French/English pun, or kill the pun entirely.
From the start? Isn't that what "Francais oral" (French mouth) means?french kiss when?
why to progress, if you can make a spin-off manga about them married with a kid? Will the author ACTUALLY carry on to this plot device of him translating her confession?
Probably not knowing him, dude hates progress with a passion only rivaled by the Rent a Girlfriend author.
