This manga was starting to drag out, the author needed to find a way to make it interesting again...well, for me, introducing this new character was not the way. I'll stick around for a few more chapters. Not saying this manga is bad. But same reason I stopped reading Takagi...I'm just kinda bored of seeing no progress.

I was hoping for a somewhat more visceral 'baring of teeth' by the Prez. She should have gotten mad at Kouhai's attitude after beating Tanaka, and then forced her to play several games in a row, crushing her by increasingly huge margins. Then after the games are done, and Kouhai inevitably asks what she will be called now, Prez responds, "Do you even have a name anymore? You who received formal training in shogi from a young age, who flaunts a win over another that has been playing for less than a year after school? Who are you to deserve a name?"

Nice scenario. Too bad it didn't come true. This new bitch needs to be knocked down a few pegs but this is a Japanese story and more oft than not the assholes never get what's coming to them.

Personally, I wouldn't have minded another 70 chapters in the same vein as the first 70 chapters, and might not have objected to a new character being introduced as long as the character did not clash with the general atmosphere of the story, but this asshole, get her the fuck out of the story before the story goes right down the shithole.
