Its like any cute high-school romcom. If progress is too fast, new characters get introduced to slow down the pace. They have a perfect opportunity to confess about every second chapter but never do so because of insecurities or arbitrary reasons. Just read "Confession Series" instead if you don't like it that way.
Indeed this is the sort of trash where you know straight up nothing will happen till the end of the series lol and well thats okay as long as the characters are fun i guess.
Go read "The 100 girlfriends who really really really really really really love him" if you want a good early romance manga, though its a different type of beast from this.
Flag capture in the first move, is pretty funny lol, read it to finally see characters do the right thing fast.
@Hamado @JustCallMeDaBoss Who tf asked y'all for fucking gay ass romcom recommendations tf I didn't even ping y'all and romance 8/10 in manga is fucking aids okay only ones who do it right is hitomi and nagatoro Thank you though @dantheman6383 for answering my question and i dropped it at 20 because it slow and honestly not that good surprised it hadnt ended or got axed chan in the year I was gone
It isn't a genre that everyone likes, it starts slowly and is a continuous tug-of-war between the protagonists, but I like it very much, sweet, carefree and fun, without haste.
Wait, the author of Komi-sama had something else? Listed.
@rokegle135 Uh... I don't know what's going on, but if you put Nagatoro, a manga where the FMC verbally abuses the MC to the point where if someone reported her to the police she SHOULD go straight to jail, right at Chapter 1, as a "Rom/Com that does it right"... I've got some news for you. Cause abuse is not romantic. Or funny.
I automatically cannot trust any recommendation from you, so not sure about hitomi. Will check it out I guess.
