Shuuuuut the fuck up. Stop trying to take blame. Being under orders and still committing a crime doesn't absolve you of responsibility. Especially when you don't object or even agree. Then this fucking forgiveness horseshit for no reason after being given multiple reasons to not only hate him but kill him. Jesus Christ. He most certainly is a bad person. And this is not even close to a good enough punishment. Then there's the author trying to shoehorn this half-assed redemption. Fucking lord, this manga has thoroughly killed itself.

Nike is way too forgiving. I think that's her biggest character flaw.

I am happy Nephero got fucked up though. I think the author did that to him because Nike is too forgiving and people wouldn't have accepted him getting away scott free like that desert prince.

Well, now he at least won't ever need to take a look or walk upon all the damage his actions caused. And most likely his people will still love him. Such an easy resolution.

I hope our Sun King still has something planed against the country. Being this forgiving when your Queen is abducted and mistreated would just send bad impulses to other countries. Nike also needs to grow up, heck, she's still more of a Child than Livius here.

I honestly love the art and some of the characters, but this whole arc left a bad taste in my mouth. If I was Livi, and I knew the dude tried to rape my wife, I'd castrate him right before I strung him up.

The mountain duchy got what it deserved. This would be a decent opportunity for Livi to post some troops and officials there, partially to help them rebuild, thus earning goodwill, but also to keep the place better under control. It would do little good of they just rebuilt the place independently and then got straight back to funding the rebellion.

I don't particularly care about the duke anymore. Losing his eyes and legs is a good enough punishment. Executing him wouldn't be strange, but since his idiotic people love him, it would only create hatred toward the Sun Kingdom, unnecessarily. That being said, if he indeed was wouded like that. It wouldn't surprise me if the brother had merely come up with a plan to deceive Livi, in order to save Nephero.

It's quite interesting that we might have now learned why Nike is so stupidly forgiving: She has two personalities: One wants to destroy the world, one wants to forgive the world. Normally people would be between those two, but Nike is strictly divided in two. The forgiving one is usually in power, while the unforgiving one is dormant.
