Yeah, but the thing I'm worried about is the cat having a garbage personality and constantly complaining about the smell of the other animals. With the cat threatening to kill everyone in the center if they don't adopt it, I can easily see this turning into the cat going "If you adopt another animal, I'll (insert vague threat here)" and the husband having to give up.

I'm hoping that they end up getting both, but I've seen too many Manga where the MMC constantly gets screwed over for no reason.
