The tribes encountered seem to roughly be the same as the order of the eastern zodiac: Rat -> Ox -> Tiger -> Rabbit -> Dragon -> Snake -> Horse -> Goat -> Monkey -> Rooster -> Dog -> Boar. The only exception so far is Tiger and Rabbit getting switched for a good old tiger vs dragon dynamic, and the monkey tribe. Although it's arguable whether that one counts as a "proper" encounter.

Shishinoi is the Pig tribe, because backwards it's Inoshishi, which is Boar. Apparently it's also one of the two "legendary" tribe. If the journey follows the zodiac order, then Shishinoi would be the last to be encountered by Lacile and co.

The rat tribe was the zune from chapters 5-6

The snake tribe is what we think the weife tribe was since a snake around their city is what they considered friendly and they barely have noses.

The monkey tribe hasn't happened yet

If the naming conventions of the tribes being named after their zodiacs but spelled in reverse holds up, then the lusa would be the monkey tribe.

Well, they got a support member now, but going to that city really sparked a lot of trouble. Plus Lacile already showed his ace to the enemy... Great way to get them to find a counter.
