I can sadly confirm that this does involve time travel. Leana is Pipi from 10 years in the future, or at least has memories of that due to time line shenanigans.

Pretty heavily unsold me on catching up with this manga. I really hate time travel.

Her being either Pipi or Meme was expected - we know she was using time manipulation powers, she was calling Lacille "Big Bro" that time she got drunk, she mentioned that Barbaros killed her older brother and kidnapped her sister - but I hadn't guessed she was Barbaros's daughter until the chapter title spoiled it.
