I think this is the reason why I've developed a habit of not finishing what i watch/read, because when I do finish them, im left with this empty feeling. especially with soul eater, I love this stupid book. I need Marie to use her healing wavelength on me I can't stand this emptiness. I still can't believe fucking BOOBS MADNESS is actually a thing

This is one of my favorites. The characters and art just hit. The anime is also really good and a pretty different experience compared to this. Sidenote, but the music from the anime is great and it's in all of my playlists... and I'm not just talking about the intros. But yeah, don't let anyone tell you the manga is worse than the anime or whatever. They are very similar until the BJ part (sounds bad out of context). As soon as BJ shows up the anime and manga completely splinter off. The manga is almost twice as long and I prefer the ending by a lot, but lots of people like the anime more. I just think stuff with the villains are way cooler and there are lots of characters that don't show up in the anime. The outcomes end up feeling kinda similar though. The part with the book is also a little boring in my opinion. I like how this is a shonen with an interesting female protagonist who isn't super sexualize. I wish there was a better sequel series. Soul eater not is like all of the worst parts of this without the good. I actually haven't read fire force, but it looks a little boring. Maybe one day we can get something else in the same universe. Lastly, there are a LOT of boob jokes (especially earlier on) that might be considered annoying. They aren't that offensive and are pretty easy to just skip over. The yen press translation is really good and they include lots of weird extras, so I would start there. Wow, I rambled.
