Jesus, what a fucking psycho Xinyue (the green-haired girl) is. Like, what did you think was going to fucking happen? Like... fuck, what is her goddamn gameplan here? I know her goal is probably getting together with Yu Qi (or Yuan Zi, not entirely sure which one Xinyue is attracted to), so how... is ruining Yu Qi's life possibly going to achieve that goal?
There's literally nothing Xinyue could do to redeem herself, given that she tried to forcibly out Yu Qi. In China, no less. A country where LGBT is legal, but has little to no laws protecting them from discrimination or hate crimes.
Labour laws in China protect employees from discrimination based on ethnicity, gender, and religion. Not sexual orientation though, so Yu Qi's job could absolutely be at risk now.
Like I said... what the hell is this psycho's gameplan? If you legitimately cared for someone, you'd never even consider imploding their life and trampling their happiness.
