Maybe he didn't win the father of the year award but all in all when it comes down to it, he really did love his son. He just had trouble expressing his love. Im sad that he died but Im glad he gave the impurities the ultimate "Fuck You!" by hopefully taking Sakinashi (the 2nd rank) with him to his heroic end. Its been a while since I binged read this, isn't it because of his wive dying that he had a rocky relationship with his son or because his son wasn't living up to their family name? 🤔
