That's what Serie heavily implies here. Not sure why so many people are saying it's a death flag.

It's closer to "I'm uncertain if I'll live. So I surrounded myself with chaos agents so no one will be able to visualize the future correctly."
I can't imagine a future where Stark not jobbing.

So she doesn't think she'll survive and that's why she recruited the wild cards in this operation. She really does seem to regret getting our protagonist involved.

My take on this is that Serie fully believes she won't survive this, and brought along the (aside from Ubel) least confrontational members with an adverse ideology (not combat oriented) to minimize collateral damage when she gets taken out, as well as, potentially as others have said, to see if they can bring about an unexpected outcome for her. In other words, she has acknowledged the potential of her death, but has resigned herself to the whims of fate, accepting whatever outcome may pass from this.
A lot of her words and actions this chapter speak to this:
Fondly reminicing with her students which she rarely does openly
Trying to sincerely do something nice for/bond with Frieren
Talk about how her approach to magic may have been flawed/limiting
However the biggest clue for me is her asking Frieren if she can imagine a world with her dying. She asks if Frieren can imagine it, but dodges the issue of if she herself can imagine it, because she already does.

This feels to me that Serie is clearly seeing that she will die and Frieren is going to safe her ass to the point she gets pissed off again. Like legit I can imagine Serie just getting mad that all her students just don't obey her wishes and hates Frieren because she doesn't get why she would save her. I feel a large part of the problem with Serie, and why she is saying this is because she doesn't want any of her students to die or the people she has. Hence why she doesnt actually want Frieren there, it's an extra party of people to save.

The anime industry is stalling the best manga of the last 10 years (for me)
The manga isn't stalling because of the anime production.
It's the author who's having some serious health issue and he's not guaranteed to come back to work, apparently.

Don't spread unfounded rumors just because someone on social media said so!

Source, otherwise it's just some drunkard's ramblings.

Honestly, to my eyes, this hiatus seems far more likely to be related to the quality of the story, this arc has stretched really thin, it started back in chapter 124 and we're on 140, 16 chapters (for now) of intrigues and prolonged battles that do little for the progress of the actual plot of the series, and this is something the writer has probably been worrying for since even earlier on.
There is also a chance the artist is having some trouble with portraying what the writer wants to convey, as well as giving some dynamism to the battles, among other issues the anime fixed incredibly well.

Still, all of this is just speculation, and is most likely related to the upcoming season 2, and from what will perhaps even be a movie, because honestly, El Dorado is very, very juicy movie material, and could be shadow dropped during the upcoming trailers for Season 2 (perhaps they do one of those release day movies where it is later cut out for TV size).

Anyway, looking forward to what's to come.
