I thought about that, but a pin wouldn't very easily bend out like that by accident. It would explain why it fell down, but in this case I think they were suspicious enough already to not give them the benefit of a doubt the second time.

Depends, if its bent that would probably mean that it fell because someone pushed it, through it could have happened while they were fucking so yeah it's kinda weird that it was that simple thing that revealed them.

You often see characters that are more popular appear more often in manga. It's how it works.
Most likely we're going to see Lawine and Laufen again soon too by this logic, they were together with Übel the most popular new characters in the anime. Though I'd guess we'd need a time skip and them having passed the first class exam to be able to travel where Frieren are now. Unless for example Lawine is included because of her relevance to the empire, iirc her brothers were in the capital too.
