It's an interesting problem to have, isn't it? Being so long lived, that everyone will forget you and your actions.
It's tragic, because what Kraft really lacks is a community - people to share himself with, Brought on by the dwindling of elfkind. Kraft is probably depressed about this.
Still, I think he could do more. He could honour himself. Attach himself to a human community, make some new bonds - and share his stories, either directly, or by turning them into tales. He could wander from place to place, helping out people, and become an urban legend.
Or is that to tiresome, too repetitive? To be sure, he would have to keep at it for it to stick. Perhaps he's tried it, and he doesn't feel like going through the motions any more. Perhaps he just needs to let this desire go.
