Its more of a they dont fully but this guy know theres atleast something that made itnso the demons like him amd this guy is rly ely like RLY INTO what is useful amd what is not useful as a tool so hes like extra pissed that a handy tool is lost to themMC is a forbidden topic..? Did one of the empire's factions understand his potential?
Best case scenario they consider him an excellent diplomat. I assume they still don't realize the extent of his ability. Heck perhaps even his own father kept it a secret out of shame.MC is a forbidden topic..? Did one of the empire's factions understand his potential?
During the meeting with General. The general declared that he wanted Thor to be his son-in-law for his daughter's partner. But that isnt a formal relation was just the General stating his hope after seeing how his daughters changed after Thor's help and the empire guys don't know that it isnt a formal relation yet as all they've heard / know was the words of the general. When did he become a son in law?? I'm so confused it's been awhile since I read this
Part of the father's plan was to place the blame at Thor's feet. The Minister is saying that was never planned for, nor approved of by the Ministry."Blaming your son is also part of the plan! I never asked for that!!"
Wait, shouldn't it be "not part of the plan?"
Regardless, seeing this guy getting metaphorically kicked in the teeth is a highlight of my day.

"Claiming credit for sending him to Demon Lord's territory is pointless"Claiming credit for sending him ot Demon Lord's territory is pointless
I suspect this dude actually knows what hes capable of. He sent in spies so he might know that mc managed to partially repair the hero’s sword. From there, he might’ve made some guesses and might be planning to kidnap/recruit him so he can commit a coup
Hm so far I like this duke. I wonder if we will get likeable characters among the humans nation.
Idk how that guy will be later on, but holy shit the read he gave him was amazing.
You love to see it.An entire 17 pages dedicated to one man taking as many Ls as possible.
I don't remember if this is one of the ones where the MC retcons his own backstory, to say that 'No he wasn't just locked in a basement for the year before getting dumped in a monster nest, he was training with the craftsman in the area,' but assuming he didn't come out with such nonsense, they explained that the whole kingdom has shifted away from Crafting as a whole, because they have a surplus of powerful weapons from past Heroes.Wasn't there an investigation a while back as to why the general quality of equipment maintenance had dropped, and was discovered that Thor was doing the majority of the work before his exile.
Then again could be mixing this event up with another, very similar stories plotline.
Just had a little lookieloo and didn't see the scene I was looking for. After catching back up with the current uploads I'm almost certain that the scene I was thinking of is another story where the MC is rescued from a scummy royal armory, by the female heir of a noble family known for swordsmithing.I don't remember if this is one of the ones where the MC retcons his own backstory, to say that 'No he wasn't just locked in a basement for the year before getting dumped in a monster nest, he was training with the craftsman in the area,' but assuming he didn't come out with such nonsense, they explained that the whole kingdom has shifted away from Crafting as a whole, because they have a surplus of powerful weapons from past Heroes.
That said, I also read a lot of these trashy abandoned crafter stories, and every now and then, the guy abandoned in the woods when he was five, remembers that time when he was ten and his Dad was nice enough to introduce him to a legendary blacksmith in their backyard.
I'm pretty sure all they know is that he's highly favored by the demons, and the Flame General has basically adopted him. Only his father is fool enough to not think there's legitimate reason for such favor.MC is a forbidden topic..? Did one of the empire's factions understand his potential?
