Even though this story follows the same tried and true story beats of pretty much every wuxia novel, the setting and scale of everything really sets it apart, without having to rely on there being one tier after the next once the mc gets too powerful. There's still the possibility of that happening, but right now the threats seem more existential and philosophical rather than just physical and thats way more interesting to me
