I don't think so. Marvel doesn't have an official wiki and I've not read anything in Doc Ock's history that acknowledges this story. I'd say the chances of it being acknowledged as part of Doc's 616 canon are slim - Marvel tends to publish all of their major storylines in books that get released at Local Comicbook Stores. This feels more in-line with being a multiverse character.

Anyway, I'm mostly interested in whether the author could ever do an ongoing like Peach Momoko is doing with Ultimate X-Men.

i had never read any marvel comics and maybe this was part of the convincing i needed to finally start. there’s something about seeing a series from the start to the end that makes a person feel as if it has changed their life in some way, and maybe it did change my life, but uh yeah this was a good comic. hopefully we will get to see otoha and the girls again

Sad that it ended so soon, but I already had a feeling it wasn't gonna run for long. A lot of people are saying that they're happy that it ended on a high note instead of dragging things out, but you can clearly tell that the author had plans for a longer story, Taka's turnaroud was kind of rushed.
