Spinning wait on search, I now know how and why. :will fix:

Previously I reported and discussed a problem with using the search function on the main page. Starting a search then using the back button on my browser would return to the main page. Waiting for me would be a spinning symbol in the search box. A second search would not work until a refresh is done.

I just found a repeatable way to make it happen or not. If a search is performed for "Isekai" it's guaranteed to get a spinning wait on backing out. If I perform a search for "Mermaid" the problem is not created. Here is the difference:

1. Isekai results in a multi-paged result.
2. Mermaid is only a single page, no way to go forward.

Not knowing a single lick of HTML, I can only assume a forward page of a multi-page form is different than a single page forward. Hope this helps. Yes, the problem went away on it's own last time without any intervention. BUT, it came back.

Just looked it up and for me both searching "Isekai" at Manga title field and "Mermaid" results in spinning search button when i click back button in browser.

I guess that confirms the issue is repeatable and it may be inconsistent as well.?.? 😰 .?.?

It's an unwanted result of BFCache, which on some browsers is for maintaining previous page state when returned to with history back. The specific search terms shouldn't have anything to do with it.

It's a minor inconvenience avoided by not hitting the back button, but whatever, I'll fix it.
