This series is fine I guess? Good premise, lackluster execution. Its never offensively bad, outside of the rushed axed ending, but its utterly bland and forgettable. Characters are one note stock characters with so little memorable about them that I can barely tell you a thing about anyone's personalities 5 minutes after finishing the series. Plot is fine, but is frequently tropey, stupid, and predictable with little to no tension, stakes, conflict, or really anything interesting going on. What little interesting material there is tends to be wrapped up far too quickly and neatly, or is otherwise just left by the wayside. If you want something to pass the time then it works, but unfortunately that is the best thing that can be said about it. It REALLY does not deserve the nearly 8.0 rating it currently has.

Would be nice if someone ressurected the novel translation.
If we cant get manga continuation, the story is still out there, just waiting to be picked up.
