MC really shouldn't try to fool Yu Yan with such flimsy excuses and just say for personal reasons or a secret not willing to share at this time. If really just beginning with pill refining would be using the lowest level Mortal grade cauldron rather than a higher leveled Treasure grade cauldron. Since Yu Yan is very knowledgeable about pill refining she'd know that a complete beginner with no professional training or teacher would start with Mortal grade. Not to mention she said that she uses a Treasure grade cauldron for her pill refining. Looking forward to what he does with that piece of Jade that caught his interest.
