This got really interesting. Too bad there is only one more chapter. And how did Viktor tell Schenok the whereabouts of whatever in the letter? I didn't recall anything about that.

If someone wants to correct the names of the characters: The usual nickname of Maria is Masha (it was spelled Marsha somewhere when that woman from Paris visited. There's no such nickname in Russian), Tatyana turns into Tanya, Olga would be Olichka (not Olishka because "sh" corresponds the Russian letter "ш" but the nickname is written with the letter "ч" - Оличка), Valentina is Valya (I've never heard of Vasha. That's not a name or nickname. There's Vasya, but that's a nickname for Vassili, a male name).

And as expected they cut off Belka's leg, so she can't escape... Still not entirely sure who she is. She can't be Rasputin's daugheter as neither the wife was named Irina, nor was there a Nadia (but there was a Maria)
