Hemlock is so going to be fired! Not understanding the point of the mission is a critical mistake. And prioritizing personal matters over the mission is an even more critical mistake.

It's probably a factor of seniority but it's surprising Yor's rank isn't equal to her reputation as Thorn Princess. That should be rectified. And this senpai is clearly too dumb to entrust delicate missions to. Not like the edgelord has showed anything special yet.

I'd be quite surprised (and perhaps disappointed) if Hemlock is senior, not only due to Yor's long history and prowess but also Hemlock's apparent lack of professionalism. Also, to me Yor's demeanour towards them seems rather casual (compared for example to how she talks to or addresses the director). Not that I have read the original to know better though, but just a feeling

this would be true, because combined with the lacking emotional intelligence department, it would fit the stereotypical "I'm feeling something and it impedes me" -stereotype. Most often present in stoic characters (I'm sure y'all can think of some) but sure, why not an edgelord as well I suppose
