doesn't endo just do this sometimes with big chapters? it's not the first time something like this happened in this manga, and this isn't really a partial chapter since it's still the length of a full chapter.
as scummy as most platforms are (looking at you, manga up), mangaplus are actually quite decent all things considered. if you're using the app then I'm fairly sure they even let you catch up on the locked chapters for free for the first read and only ask you to subscribe to access them if you want to reread. they're literally the only ones who don't really region lock and who let you keep up with the latest chapters of series completely for free - all the rest tend to region lock everything to just the US and/or use predatory monetization methods for chapter access.
