its the purpose of the manga lol

there wouldnt be anya at all if it was only about war
you want spy family without anya??

i think its fine, it adds more depth to the characters who arent only 'the spy', 'the assassin', 'the prime minister' etc. they all have lives going on and purposes in life and reasons to do what they do

and it makes the whole thing less tense with the funny moments with anya or even at school in general (with the ELEGANT guy etc.)

anyway, its makes the whole thing way more original and touching imo
